Newark-on-Trent has some of Lincolnshire’s most beautiful wedding venues on its doorstep. For the dress to match, Jaynes Bridalwear in Lincoln is just 20 miles up the A46.
The Atelier · Guildhall Street, Lincoln
Worth the journey…
Jaynes has been dressing brides from Newark and the surrounding villages since 1981. That’s four decades of knowing what works, what lasts, and what makes a bride feel extraordinary on the day that matters most.
Our boutique sits on Guildhall Street in Lincoln city centre — a short drive or a comfortable 25-minute journey from Newark town centre. We stock a curated range of designer gowns from names including Pronovias, Madi Lane, Stella York, Justin Alexander, Morilee, and Calla Blanche, alongside our designer sample sale collection where gowns start from £299.
Every appointment begins before you arrive. Your stylist will contact you in advance to understand your vision — your silhouette preferences, your venue, the feel of your day — and will have a selection of gowns waiting for you when you walk through the door. No overwhelm, no cold rails. Just the dresses that are most likely to be the one.
Standard appointments are 90 minutes. If you’d like the full experience — something sparkling on arrival, and a dedicated stylist — our VIP appointment gives you two unhurried hours.
Our collection covers UK sizes 6 to 32, and we approach every fitting with the same care regardless of size. We’re not a boutique that treats plus-size as a separate category — it’s the same collection, chosen with the same eye.
Brides marrying at Kelham Hall, Doddington Hall, and Langar Hall have all found their gowns with us — if you’re planning a Nottinghamshire or Lincolnshire wedding, we’d love to be part of it.
The A46 from Newark runs directly into Lincoln — it’s a straightforward 20-minute drive with no complicated navigation. We’re a 5-minute walk from the NCP car park on Tentercroft Street.
Reserve a private two-hour appointment. The kettle is on, something sparkling is chilling, and there is a dress with your name on it.
